MOMIS XML project

This project is partitioned in three main sub-poject:
 
 

1. The DTD problem
2. Object serialization in XML format problem
3. Building a Schema

In DTD problem we study how an ODLi3 schema can be translated into a valid DTD that will be used by mediator to export integrated data as XML document.

The goal of second problem concerns devevelopment of a package that given any graph of in-memory objects, it will produce an XML serialized representation, and conversely, given the XML representation it will reconstruct the objects graph. The package called XmlTools, is been developed in Java language and supports various features that user can use to customize the XML output.

XML-Schema is intended to go beyond the limit of XML1.0, so in Building a Schema we study how to translate ODLi3 interfaces in a Schema that will be used to define valid XML document
